This research is being driven by environmental legislation that requires the consumption and usage of environmentally friendly products. The focus this to develop characterize thermoplastic arrowroot starch (TPAS) based biocomposite films incorporating fibre (AF) at various compositions (0–10 wt.%) using solution casting method. biodegradation behaviour newly developed composite was examined. average degradation rates TPAS TPAS/AF–10 were 8 9.84%/day, respectively. soil burial results revealed weight loss TPAS/AF higher compared film. fibre, a novel waste resource both eco-friendly simple produce. Overall, with film improves biodegradability, making them more suitable for food packaging.
